The Shorts- The Trouble Line

When I came across the fabric, at the Cardboard Condo, of course...

...the first thing I thought to myself was, "Hmmm- sorta... Cavalli, right?"  The second thought was, "Why do I already know I'm going to buy that, when I know I'll never be brave enough to wear it?"  My third thought was, "Oh, what will my mother say."  The last wasn't quite a question, just like it wasn't a question whether or not those chains would become shorts, and the shorts would be mine.

Side zip gold chain print stretch fabric ferociousness.

Oddly enough, my mother thought they were "too cute."  She absolutely refuses to be boring, fashion-wise.  I'll have to thank her for these genes when I see her this weekend.

  1. Really great pattern, has a kind of retro seventies feel to me.
Thanks for commenting. And I'm not actually a massive heels wearer, but when I do wear them out I either grin and bear it or have some flat shoes in my bag!

  2. Love them! i see them withs ome white knee high boots? or sexy brown chunky platforms? yeah? with some socks maybe!!

  3. Those shorts are fabulous! I like the shirt you paired them with too.

  4. I didn't even think of that- retro seventies! That changes the whole way I view those shorts. Oh- and I did wear them. Got rave reviews.
